For more than fifty years, Barbara Lovejoy has offered a wide variety of professional services to individuals and groups in the fields of Self-Healing, Self-Empowerment, Transformation and Wholistic Well-Being. She enjoys brightening up her client's lives as a Certified Life Coach, Speaker and Workshop Leader, Certified Laughter Yoga Leader, Certified Qigong Teacher, Facilitator of Drum Circles and Ceremonies, and Healing Life-Energy Worker.
She offers transformative and practical tools that help people discover and follow their own unique path for living their best, fulfilling life, while they also make their best contributions to the world.
Her clients have included corporate groups, non-profit service organizations, professional and private groups, and individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
She customizes her one-on-one sessions and group programs to meet the unique needs of each client.

Barbara holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work (MSW) from the University of Califoria-
Los Angeles (UCLA); and a Master's Degree in French from the University of Illinois, Urbana, Illinois.
She considers herself as a continual learner on the path of Life, Love and Joy, which as she says,
"is never over!" Barbara looks for the lessons and blessings in every experience.

In 2016, Barbara's opportunity for overcoming obstacles was greatly increased when she was diagnosed with Waldenstrom's Macrobulinemia, a rare form of Lymphoma. She considers cancer to be her "Black Belt Teacher" for "claim joy no matter what". She continues to walk her talk of finding love, joy, beauty and goodness in the present moment. Her mission is to inspire her clients and others to do the same.
Barbara's has developed a wide variety of self-help, transformative tools and programs that promote compassionate self-love and care, healing, and well-being, that work in a complementary way with whatever medical care may also be required.
In addition to her professional services, Barbara is a member of several organizations which support the environment of Planet Earth and all the different life forms on it. These include
The Pachamama Alliance (which supports the indigenous people and rain forests in the jungle of Ecuador,) Greenpeace (which supports marine animals and the ocean that she loves), and the Sierra Club.
Barbara finds great joy communing with nature; especially at the nearby ocean, mountains, woods and desert, and doing nature photography. Other favorites include dancing, playing the piano, drums and percussion and enjoying her two delightful cats...who are Zen teachers in disguise.
